Ashley Peppriell is a PhD candidate in Toxicology from the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester New York. She holds a BS in biochemistry and MS in toxicology. For her PhD thesis work, she uses the fruit fly model to study how developing organisms are affected by methylmercury toxicity. Outside of academia, Ashley is a distance running athlete and trains for marathons.
