I am a second-year PhD student at Indiana University School of Medicine. I study the role of osteocytes (bone cells) in patients with multiple myeloma (a plasma cell cancer).Ninety percent of patients with multiple myeloma have osteolytic lesions, and no current treatments exist in order to improve these patients' bone health.
